The main accommodation in La Parva is apartments and condominiums mostly owned by Chilenos from Santiago. The resort as such has a private feel to it. You can also stay centrally in Farellones for access to the three ski resorts of El Colorado, La Parva & Valle Nevado.
Combined with the two neighbouring ski resorts of El Colorado and Valle Nevado this is the largest lift served ski area in South America and ski passes can be extended to combine two of the ski resorts in one day (subject to weather conditions of course). Not only is the lift served ski area of an international standard, there is also some excellent heliskiing and heliboarding out of Valle Nevado, taking you deep into the Andes for a fraction of the cost you would pay in North America or Europe. The off piste is excellent in La Parva.
