Off Piste ski adventure to Valle Nevado & the 3 Valleys, Portillo & El Arpa Cat skiing in Chile and Las Lenas in Argentina. This 14-day off-piste adventure including a full week of the most extreme South American ski terrain at Las Lenas.
The tour starts start north of Santiago, near the town of Los Andes, where your comfortable hotel has access to one of world's top ten ski resorts, Portillo and fantastic cat skiing with El Arpa SnowCats.
The tour then heads to the 3 Valleys of Chile and the steeps of Valle Nevado, Colorado & La Parva.

The tour then leaves Chile flying across the massive Andean frontier to the beautiful city, of Mendoza. Your night in Mendoza includes a festive night of Tango and a delicious meal in Mendoza.
The journey continues as the tour visits one of Mendoza's vineyards, tasting Argentina's famous red wines before arriving for a week of some of the best skiing on Earth in Las Lenas, Argentina.

Itinerary

� Day 1: Fly into Santiago, Chile, meet your guides, drive to hotel near town of Los Andes. Once checked-in, there will be a chance to meet and get to know the group followed by a trip introduction. Group dinner.
� Day 2: Breakfast is followed by an avalanche safety session before skiing Portillo
� Day 3: Breakfast, ski El Arpa (cat skiing) and great off-piste terrain with your guides. Apres-ski and then dinner follows the skiing or snowboarding.
� Day 4-5: Breakfast before a days skiing off-piste around La Parva, El Colorado & Valle Nevado in the 3 Valleys of Chile and their off-piste of course. Dinner together staying in your hotel in Farellones.
� Day 6: Breakfast before a mornings skiing or snowboarding after which we drive to the airport for the flights to Mendoza, Argentina. After check-in to the hotel there will be a group dinner and a night enjoying the delights of Mendoza, on the town!
� Day 7: After breakfast, the tour moves to Las Lenas including a lunch stop at a local vineyard with wine tasting. Continue to Las Lenas for an afternoon check-in.
� Day 8-13: A full week of the ultimate South American ski experience in Las Lenas! Las Lenas is well known for it's extreme terrain and easy accessible off-piste and backcountry.
� Day 14: At the end of the week following breakfast, check-out before the drive to Mendoza for your evening flight to Santiago to meet connecting international flights.
(Those wishing to stay on in Argentina or Chile are free to do so)

Not Included:

� Your round trip international flight to Chile or Argentina, airline/airport fees and taxes, train or national flight to Santiago, Chile, required travel insurance, end of trip gratuities to your guides, drinks, and required equipment (see below).
� Required Backcountry Equipment ... We require all guests to ride with a minimum of a 29 Litre backpack (up to 35 Lt is ideal) with suitable external harness straps for carrying your skis or snowboard. You will also need a 457 Khz avalanche transceiver, avalanche snow shovel, and probe.
