Instructional Powder Guided Ski Tour Chile
Valle Nevado, La Parva, Corralco, Nevados de Chillan (Termas de Chillan) & El Arpa Cat Skiing
This tour is a 14 day guided powder ski tour in the powdery central Chilean Andes with Professional Canadian Ski & Snowboard Instruction to improve your powder skiing for all levels of skier who are experienced in powder and who want to improve or challenge themselves. All skiing will be chair-lift accessible.
The trip starts with a tour of Santiago and all its wonders on arrival day and then skiing the modern resorts of La Parva and Valle Nevado with thousands of acres of dry Andean powder, these resorts make up the 3 Valleys of South America. In the evenings we are in the heart of Santiago dining at the top restaurants with wine tastings and salsa clubs.
Next we travel south visiting a famous vineyard on the way to ski the magical and untouched resort of Corralco, located on Lonquimay Volcano and surrounded by the indigenous Araucaria (monkey puzzle) trees. Here we will be staying in a modern thermal spa, an oasis in an untouched part of Chile..
We next travel to South America's single largest ski area, Termas de Chillan, with it's excellent skiing & snowboarding on the spectacular powder stocked Chillan Volcano. The skiing & snowboarding here is legendary boasting 10,000 acres.
Included is a taste of the local Indian and rural culture when we visit Chillán's outdoor market the most typical of all the Chilean markets still thriving in the town of Chillan.
Finally it is off to ski or snowboard at Chile's only cat skiing operation, El Arpa (optional) which has 3000 vertical feet per run at altitudes over 12,000 ft.
On the Chile Resort Ski Tour with Instruction you will have the opportunity to receive as much or as little professional instruction, depending on want you desire and your skiing level, to help enjoy the abundant fresh tracks Chile offers. Our instructor-guides are friendly, fun and knowledgeable and fluent in Spanish.

Itinerary
» Day 1: Fly into Santiago & meet your instructor-guides, hotel check-in, group and trip intro with traditional Chilean lunch, free night ready for your first ski day.
» Day 2-4: Breakfast, 3 days skiing at Valle Nevado and La Parva ski resorts, with the evenings wine tasting and fine dining in Santiago at excellent restuarants and the opportunity to visit a salsa dance club.
» Day 5: After breakfast you will travel south heading for the Andean volcanoes. The renowned Miguel Torres vineyard makes a welcome stop for a tour and wine tasting, followed by a traditional Chilean asado (barbeque). Then travel to the thermal spa and oasis of Termas de Malalcahuello in a hidden part of Chile.
» Day 6-7: Enjoy 2 days skiing at Corralco ski resort, located on Volcan Lonquimay where you will likely be the only ones on the hill! One chair and 3000 acres ungroomed! A incredible ski opportunity. This is a magical a little known place you will never forget.
» Day 8: Breakfast, drive to Termas de Chillan. On route visit the famous waterfalls Lajas de Saltos and Chile’s most traditional & colorful market in the city of Chillan. Hotel check-in, dinner.
» Day 9-11: Breakfast, 3 days skiing at Termas de Chillan, enjoy natural thermal pool in evenings, dinner at various restaurants.
» Day 12: Breakfast, Ski another half day at Termas de Chillan, travel to Santiago, hotel check-in, dinner.
» Day 13: Breakfast, optional Cat-Ski at El Arpa Cat Skiing for a final day of skiing dry Andean snow. Dinner and wrap up party in Santiago
» Day 14: Transfers to airport for your flight home.
