Ski or snowboard the South American resort of Portillo. The steeps of Portillo have been famous for many years as one of the key areas to ski in the Chilean Andes. Options include the Hotel Portillo often referred to as resembling a cruise ship in the mountains.
The Octagon Lodge provides a lower cost alternative to the Hotel Portillo. Located adjacent to the hotel the rooms have 4 single beds in a bunk arrangement (2 sets) and a private bathroom.
Dinner when staying at the Octagon Lodge is taken in the hotel restaurant and seven nights stays include lift passes for skiing up to 8 days.
