One of Chile's most popular ski tours the Summer Ski Escape is the perfect way to get away from the summer heat.
This trip is specifically for advanced and expert skiers and snowboarders who want to freeride the Southern Hemispheres best skiing and powder. We start in Valle Nevado and La Parva with virtually endless off-piste terrain and powder!
After a great day at Portillo ski resort, rated one of the World's top ski areas, we give you the option to continue skiing Portillo with your guides for two more days or experience El Arpa's cat skiing in some of South America's most epic terrain. El Arpa is South America's only cat skiing operation!

Tour Itinerary
- Day 1: Fly into Santiago, Chile, meet your guides, travel to Farellones, hotel check-in, afternoon skiing in La Parva or El Colorado, avalanche safety session, dinner
- Day 2-4: Breakfast, 3 full days off piste freeriding around the vast terrain of La Parva, El Colorado & Valle Nevado, apres ski, dinner
- Day 5: Breakfast, more off piste exploring, afternoon road trip to town of Los Andes. Check in to our lodging, dinner
- Day 6: Breakfast, ski Portillo with your guides, dinner
- Day 7: Breakfast, cat skiing at El Arpa, return to Santiago for our last night on the town
- Overnight in Santiago
- Day 8: Breakfast, tour ends
Accommodation on the Tour:
- 4 nights in Farellones in a private 3 star mountain lodge
- 2 nights in San Esteban in a 4 star family run restored hacienda
- Last night in Santiago in a 4 star Hotel

- Required Backcountry Equipment (The following will be available for rent if you do not have your own)
- We require all guests to ride with a minimum of a 29 Litre backpack (up to 35 Lt is ideal) with suitable external harness straps for carrying your skis or snowboard. You will also need a 457 Khz avalanche transceiver, avalanche snow shovel, and probe
